STEM Shape Building Activity

Description

Kids will enjoy building their shapes with this fun STEM shapes with toothpicks activity. Using play dough and toothpicks (or straws), children will build out 2D and 3D shapes.

As children build out their shapes with toothpicks, they will be using fine motor and problem-solving skills.

After the shapes have been built, kids will use their counting skills to determine the number of toothpicks or straws it took to build the shape.

The shapes with toothpicks activity comes with two digital downloads. One file contains two differing task cards per page, which is perfect for those that are homeschooling. The second file contains two of the same shapes per page, which is great for those working with groups.
