Uh oh! Farmer Dan is preparing for Thanksgiving. Teddy the Tricky Turkey needs to come up with a disguise so that he doesn’t become Thanksgiving Dinner! This in-school or take-home project will be adored by your kiddos. They can use any materials they have on hand to disguise the turkey or choose from pre-designed templates. Afterwards, kids will use their writing skills to come up with a new story for Teddy.

Description

If you have never done a “Disguise the Turkey” activity before, then you are missing out! Your kiddos will love hiding the Tricky Turkey so that Farmer Dan can’t make him Thanksgiving dinner. This would be a fun in school writing activity or activity for the kids to complete at home.

Kids can use anything they have on hand to help hide Teddy the Turkey. But, if they would like, they can also use pre-designed templates that are included in this bundle. There are 12 templates in total that will fit right over their turkey!

After kids have hidden their turkey, they will give their turkey a new name, describe what their turkey is disguised as and come up with a plan to hide from the farmer.
