This low-prep ocean color matching activity set comes with two fun ways to practice color recognition.
Each activity allows children to practice their fine motor skills while simultaneously working on their color identification skills.
The first game is a “feed the shark” game where students will use their fingers or a pair of tongs to pick up pom-poms and place it in the shark’s mouth.
The colors included in this game are: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, light blue, purple, pink, black and white.
The next game has versatility as to how it can be used. It can be used as a simple color matching mat, with chain links or placed on pipe cleaners and have students add color matching beads to it.
With this game, students will be matching dolphins, based on their color.
