Fall-Themed Dough Mats

These fun fall play dough mats can help children develop both fine motor and counting skills. 

With 12 fun fall images to choose from, children will roll, press and shape their dough. Once finished, they’ll read the number on their fall play dough mat and “smash” or cover that many items. Combining play with purposeful learning. 

Each page of these fall playdough mats features two identical items, with a different number shown at the bottom of each mat.

These fall play dough mats would be a fun, hands-on addition to any fall or Halloween theme!

To set up the fall play dough mats: 

1. Print and cut out the mats (two mats per page)
2. Laminate the mats for durability. 
3. Provide play dough – either store-bought or homemade. 
4. Show children how to shape the dough on their fall play dough mat. And explain how to follow the counting instructions. For younger children who aren’t yet reading, guide them to identify the number in the box.
