Take a trip to the apple orchard without leaving the classroom! This Apple Orchard Booklet introduces preschool and kindergarten children to what they might see and experience during a visit to an apple orchard.
With short, simple text and colorful illustrations, children will learn about apple trees, blossoms, bees, how apples grow, picking apples and more. They’ll also discover some of the other sights they may see at an orchard, including tractors, wagons, barns and farm animals.
The booklet includes simple discussion questions at the end to encourage children to talk about what they learned and make connections to their own experiences.
Perfect for an apple theme, fall unit, apple orchard field trip, science center, small group or read-aloud activity for ages 3 and up.
