These alphabet mats to use with playdough are picnic-themed, perfect for any time of the year!
Kids will be working on their fine motor skills as they roll and form their playdough. Then, they’ll be working on their letter formation as they place their dough.
And finally, their letter names or sounds as they point to the alphabet letters in the top right hand corner of each mat and say the sound or name.
The alphabet playdough mat bundle comes in both uppercase and lowercase letters. And each mat is offered in both black and white and color.
Once printed, these playdough letter mats measure approximately 4×6 inches. They come 2 mats per page.
These playdough mats were designed to be smaller in size to allow for easier storage. And, they do not require as much playdough to complete – compared to larger mats.
How to set up the Alphabet Playdough Mat activity:
- Print the mats to use with playdough.
- Cut the mats down to size.
- Laminate the letter mats.
- Demonstrate how to use the alphabet dough mats with playdough, including the letters at the top.
