Build an understanding of emotions with this Construction Worker Feelings Dough Mat! Children will select an emotion card, identify the feeling and use play dough to create the matching facial expression on the blank construction worker.
As children recreate each expression, you can talk about what the feeling looks like and situations that might make someone feel that way. The activity also gives children extra fine motor practice as they roll and shape the play dough. Laminated mats can also be used with dry-erase markers.
The set includes 12 emotions:
- Mad
- Sad
- Happy
- Sleepy
- Surprised
- Silly
- Annoyed
- Excited
- Worried
- Loved
- Sick
- Calm
Print, cut and laminate the construction worker mat and emotion cards for an easy-to-reuse community helpers activity.
