These snap cube letter mats are a fun way for children to work on fine motor skills, while practicing phonics and a bit of handwriting. The linking cube mats come in both uppercase and lowercase and would work great as a center or individual work.
To set up, print out the mats of your choosing and laminate if you’d like to use more than once. Otherwise, lamination is not required.
Provide children with snap cubes and a dry erase marker (if laminating). Instruct them to build the letter on their mat. This may either be built on the mat or off to the side.
They will then cover the pictures, on the right hand side of the snap cube mats, that start (or end) with that letter sound. Lastly, they will practice writing the letter on their mat.
These alphabet linking cube mats print one to a page and print in color only.
