These Morning Calendar Worksheets are a great way to start off your mornings with your students. Students will learn how to read a calendar and start to become more aware of the passage of time.
Each morning calendar worksheet comes with a mini calendar that students can follow along with and one monthly-themed image. Outside of this, the daily calendar worksheets are exactly the same. This helps to create consistency and routine throughout the year.
The morning calendar worksheets were designed to be used along with your morning calendar time. I recommend printing a copy for each student and then displaying a copy of yours overhead so that students can follow along.

Sections included in the Daily Calendar Worksheets:
- Day of the Week: Students will circle or highlight a day Monday – Friday.
- Mini Calendar: Find the date on the mini calendar and color the box.
- Date: Students will trace the month name and the write the date and year.
- Short Date: This is where students will practice writing the digital date.
- Number of Days in School: Keep trace of how many days school has been in session, then fill in the hundreds, tens and ones box.
- Feeling: Students will color the face that best matches their emotion that morning. This is also a great way to get an idea on how your students’ mornings are starting out.
- Weather: Take a look outside and color the weather that best matches!
- Season: Color the clothing that matches the season you are currently in.
After calendar time is over, you can take a walk around and sticker or star their morning calendar worksheet. Or, you can have them write their name, collect them, look them over and then return them back to them.
