This submarine cube measurement activity is a perfect addition to your ocean, marine life or summer theme!
Students will be measuring the submarines using snap cubes or any other manipulative of your choice. If you do not have manipulatives for measuring, there is an included “ruler” that can be used.
Two recording sheets have been included. One designed for younger children, where they can select the correct number and put it in the corresponding box. And one for older students, where they can write their answers on the lines.
The ocean-themed cube measurement set is great for practicing measurement with nonstandard units. It is hands-on, engaging and fun for little ones!
Add on to this activity by asking students to order the submarines by tallest to shortest or vice versa.
The ocean cube measurement activity includes 9 fun submarines in varying colors and lengths. And comes in both color and black and white.
