Add a little fall fun to your literacy centers with these Pumpkin and Fall Writing Cards! This printable set includes 30 seasonal words children can use to practice recognizing, tracing and writing new vocabulary.
Three versions are included, so you can choose the format that works best for your children:
- Regular print
- Three-lined handwriting format
- Dashed letters for tracing
Place the cards in a pile at the writing center, spread them across a table or display them in a pocket chart. Children can choose a card and copy the word onto blank paper. You can also place the cards around the room for a seasonal Write the Room activity.
For additional tracing practice, laminate the cards and let children write directly on them with dry-erase markers. Simply wipe them clean when finished and reuse them throughout your pumpkin or fall theme.
These cards are a simple addition to literacy centers, writing centers, morning tubs, small groups, independent practice or homeschool learning.
