There’s a fire at that house – time to put out the flames! This Fire Safety Week activity gives kids several hands-on ways to work those hand muscles.
Cut long strips of paper and let children snip them into smaller pieces to cover each flame. They can also use the included raindrops or roll pieces of play dough to “put out” the fire. Place the house in a sheet protector or laminate it to use again and again.
Want a one-time activity? Print the black-and-white pages so children can color the house and raindrops, then cut and paste the raindrops over the flames.
The download includes color and black-and-white pages, a raindrop page, and instructions. It works well for centers, small groups or one-on-one fine motor practice.
