This snowman winter color matching activity is perfect for young children working on color recognition and names.
There are two fun ways to use this activity. It can be used with pony beads and pipe cleaners or as a color matching mat.
To use with pony beads and pipe cleaners, each snowman card will be cut down into individual square snowman cards. They will then be taped to a pipe cleaner. Children will find pony beads that match the snowman and then place them on the pipe cleaner. This is a great way to work on fine motor skills.
To use the color matching mats, two pages of the snowmen will be printed. One will be cut down into a mat and the other will be cut down into individual pieces. Children will match the snowman by placing them on the mat, according to their color.
If the winter snowman color matching activity will be used in a classroom or several times, I recommend laminating everything for durability.
