Make your apple theme a little more delicious with an Apple-Flavored Food Taste Test! Children can sample a variety of apple foods, such as apple pie, applesauce, apple chips, apple muffins and more, then choose which one they liked best.
Choose 4–6 apple foods to try—there’s no need to provide every option shown. Before tasting, children can color the foods they’ll be trying on their recording sheet. After sampling each one, they’ll circle their favorite!
This simple activity is a fun addition to an apple theme, apple unit or five senses lesson and gives children an opportunity to explore different tastes and textures while trying foods they may not have tasted before.
