This fun Thanksgiving scissor cutting practice activity is a perfect addition to your Fall, turkey or Thanksgiving theme! The low-prep Thanksgiving-themed cutting activity is great fun for little ones that are working on developing their scissor skills.
The Turkey Cutting Practice Bundle includes 25 unique pages that provide kids with plenty of opportunities of cutting along different lines. There are straight lines, wavy lines, zig-zag lines, curved lines and a combination of lines!
This activity is slightly more difficult than the hair salon cutting activity or ghost cutting activity. Students will be tasked with cutting all around the turkey image instead of cutting from one side of the page. A great challenge for young students growing their scissor skills!
Each page contains two of the same images, that are printed in black and white. While I printed these Thanksgiving scissor cutting practice activities on colored paper, they turn out just as great on white paper!
Students can work on their scissor skills individually at their desks, in small groups or they can be used as centers.

This Thanksgiving cutting practice with scissors activity would be a great addition to any preschool (ages 4.5 and up are ideal) or kindergarten class. Older children have even enjoyed practice their scissor skills with these printouts!
