Make learning 2D shapes fun with this Valentine shape matching activity! Children match the love bug-shaped pieces to the correct shape on the mat while practicing shape recognition, visual discrimination and early math skills. Use the full 12-piece mat or cut it in half to create two 6-piece activities, making it easy to adapt for centers, small groups or independent practice. Lamination is recommended for repeated classroom use.
