Pumpkin Patch Fingerprint Keepsake

Create a sweet fall keepsake families will love with this My Little Pumpkin Patch Fingerprint Art activity!

Children will use orange paint or a washable ink pad to add their fingerprints along the pumpkin vines, turning each print into a tiny pumpkin. The finished page makes an adorable seasonal keepsake to display, send home or give to someone special.

This simple fingerprint craft is perfect for preschool, Pre-K, daycare, homeschool and fall pumpkin themes. It requires only a few supplies and can easily be completed during an art station, small group activity or keepsake project.

To complete this activity:

  1. Print one keepsake page for each child.
  2. Add a small amount of orange washable paint to a plate or shallow tray.
  3. Have children press a fingertip into the paint.
  4. Add fingerprints along the vines to create a little pumpkin patch.
  5. Allow the page to dry completely before displaying or sending it home.

For an extra special touch, write the child’s name and date on the finished keepsake!
